Stop Achieving, Start Allowing
Like many of my clients, I spent years chasing goals—degrees, jobs, even spiritual milestones—only to find achievement didn’t bring the fulfillment I expected.
Eventually I came to this:
What if you don’t have to achieve well-being at all? What if you just have to allow it?
After a lot of trial and error, I realized well-being isn’t something we earn through effort, striving, or perfection. It’s already here, already available. Our only job is to stop resisting and let it in.
That doesn’t mean giving up on goals or staying stuck. It means shifting the energy behind your goals. Instead of hustling, stressing, and pushing, you create more space to receive what’s possible. You listen for what feels aligned, take the next step that feels alive, and allow life to meet you halfway.
When I practice this—even in small ways—I notice the difference. A tough day softens. A conversation flows more easily. I’m more present to listen, notice synchronicities, and opportunities. I stop trying to control everything and let things unfold naturally.
So here’s the question I’m always sitting with (and I invite you to, too!):
Where in my life am I pushing instead of simply allowing the well-being and abundance that’s already here?
Sometimes the biggest transformation isn’t in doing more. It’s in letting go.
